I grew up playing soccer and in more recent years, enjoy boxing. Soccer was a key factor in my ability to rebound and increase my resilience each and every time life threw an obstacle in my way. It taught me how to depend on others and support them, work for the greater good, pay attention to my surroundings, plan ahead as well as think and readjust in the moment. Boxing is a perfect metaphor for life: it's invaluable to learn how to dodge the hits that come our way, take a hit and get back into the fight, and be aware of and predict weakness so that we can pivot and make a new plan when necessary.
I have an incredible career as a Clinical Social Worker, working with middle school students and in a private practice. It is a humbling and rewarding experience to be a part of people's life stories. I realize the crucial connection between the body and mind, physical toughness and mental toughness. Therapy can take on many forms and doesn't always have to be sitting in a room talking about your past, your wounds etc.. Physical fitness can provide a next level of well being. It increases our natural happiness chemical, dopamine which, in turn, drives us to reach our goals, rewarding us with endless opportunities.
Helping another realize their dreams and build their confidence is really a selfish purpose. I want to live in a world where people feel good about who they are and know they are capable of turning obstacles into opportunities. When people realize these two things, they feel better, they treat each other better and they are more motivated to bring others to that level.
My husband is Bill Martin, co-owner and President of GYMGUYZ Boston Metro South. We have been together for eight years, married for four. Getting married later in life gave me the wisdom I needed to intentionally choose a partner that would be responsible, reliable, flexible, loving and passionate. Smartest decision I ever made!
I have two beautiful step children, as well as a gang of nieces and nephews with whom I get to share my life and love.

I have been in sports my whole life, mostly team sports. I played varsity football, basketball and baseball in high school and then recreational softball for a long time after that. As I got older, my interests changed. I found that boxing was something that I really enjoyed. Right about the same time, I decided to do my first Spartan Race and that required training in areas that I have never done before. I got really into both of these areas and decided that I also wanted to be able to train people to do them as well so, I got my personal training certification. Since then I have worked as a cardio boxing group trainer and I have led multiple teams in various Spartan Races around the area.

I really enjoy seeing people succeed at meeting their goals. For me, it's been more about fitness. I want to be part of others success and help them in any way I can whether it's through training or support. It feels great to achieve your goal, large or small, and I would like to help make that happen.
My wife is April and we have been together for 8 years.

Patrick Morgan Fitness CoachPatrick Morgan Fitness CoachMy fascination with strength and conditioning started at a young age playing baseball as a child. As I got older I started playing football up to my second year at Boston College High School before sustaining a season ending shoulder injury. The physical therapy I went through after my first shoulder surgery is what seriously sparked my interest in human physiology. In 2012 I started my undergraduate pursuit of a Kinesiology degree at the University of Rhode Island, which I completed in 2017. During my time there, my passion for health and wellness grew as my knowledge expanded. After becoming a part of the URI Powerlifting Club and competing on the national level, I knew that strength and conditioning would always be a part of my life.
As a personal trainer I am able to program tailored workouts for any individuals specific needs and goals such as; weight loss, strength gain, flexibility and mobility improvements, as well as nutrition and regeneration tactics to improve one’s health.
