1. WHAT DO YOU MEAN BY # 1 IN HOME PERSONAL TRAINING?+
GYMGUYZ brings the gym to you! We will train you in the setting of your choice. It may be your home, backyard, garage, office or maybe a local park. Whatever is convenient for you works for us.
2. WILL I WORK OUT IN THE GYMGUYZ VAN?+
No. We bring all the necessary equipment into the setting of your choice: whether it’s your home, backyard, office or maybe a local park.
3. DO I NEED MY OWN EQUIPMENT?+
No. Our vans are fully equipped with all the tools that will provide you with the most amazing workouts. We have mats, dumbbells, stability balls, resistance bands, boxing gear, body bars, pool apparatus and kettlebells to name a few pieces of equipment. Remember, We Bring The Gym To You!
4. WHAT DOES GUYZ STAND FOR?+

5. DO YOU HAVE FEMALE COACHES?+
Yes, we have male and female coaches! Remember, GUYZ is an acronym.
6. WHY SHOULD I USE GYMGUYZ RATHER THAN GOING TO A GYM?+
Convenient, Customized, and Creative: GYMGUYZ comes to you. You will be saving not only gas but also time. No more paying for towels or lockers, or searching for a parking spot. Environment: No more crowds, or people watching you. Follow ups: After every 15 weeks, we will reassess your progress and compare it to your original measurements from the first visit. You will achieve your goals quicker because our coaches have a passion for you getting results.
7. DO YOU CHARGE FOR THE FIRST VISIT?+
No. The first visit is free and includes the following:
- a body assessment
- a measurement assessment
- nutritional assessment
- a fitness assessment
- setting up your goals
8. HOW LONG ARE THE TRAINING SESSIONS?+
Each session is one hour. That provides you enough time to get your body working to achieve your desired goals. Coaches arrive 5-10 minutes before the session to set up the necessary equipment for that particular day you are training.
9. HOW OFTEN SHOULD I WORK OUT WITH MY GYMGUYZ COACH?+
We suggest everyone gets 4 days of activity a week. Our clients train with us 2-5 days a week. GYMGUYZ recommends that our clients also workout on their own 1-2 days a week. It really depends on your goals and how quickly you want to achieve them.
10. WILL I HAVE THE SAME COACH EACH SESSION?+
This all depends on your preference. All of our coaches are trained using the GYMGUYZ philosophy “amazing approach…amazing results”.
11. WHAT EXERCISES SHOULD I DO ON THE DAYS I’M NOT TRAINING?+
Some form of cardio would be ideal. If you have a treadmill, elliptical, row machine or a bicycle, you can do a total of 30-45 minutes. If this is not possible, head out and go for a walk.
12. WHAT AREAS DO YOU TRAVEL TO?+
We currently service clients throughout North America, refer to our locations page to find a service area near you.
13. DO YOU PROVIDE DIETS FOR EACH CLIENT?+
Yes, we customize a sample diet for each client upon signing up. We do provide nutritional programs which are available for a nominal fee. Our diets are healthy and easy to follow, and coupled with the personal training, it is easy to lose weight and feel great.
14. HOW FAST WILL I SEE RESULTS AND ACHIEVE MY GOALS?+
95% of our clients get amazing results. All you need to do is follow the program that GYMGUYZ has developed for you. At your first reassessment, you should see a positive change. The average time to see results is anywhere from 8-15 weeks depending on how many times a week you train.
15. WHO ARE YOUR CLIENTS?+
We train pre-teens, teens, adults, seniors, athletes, pre natal, post natal, corporate clients, class environment, and rehab patients.
16. WHY SHOULD I CHOOSE GYMGUYZ?+

We understand that people don’t find the time to go to the gym or may even feel uncomfortable working out in a crowd. We will explain each piece of equipment during the training session, and you will benefit from our coaches’ expertise. Our GYMGUYZ coaches will help you stay motivated and maintain a training structure needed to keep you on track.
17. THIS SERVICE SOUNDS AMAZING. CAN YOU COME TO MY OFFICE?+
Yes, we will train you right in your office at the time that best works for you.
18. DO YOU OFFER GROUP SESSIONS OR ARE THEY ONLY ONE-ON-ONE?+
Yes, we offer group sessions. Group sessions are always a blast. You can work out with 2 people or 60 people. If your group exceeds 20 people, we will make sure to send an additional coach. We will make your workout experience a great one!
19. WHAT ARE SOME HEALTHY SNACKS I CAN EAT?+
Almonds and fruits such as a banana and an apple. Keep cut up celery and carrots in the refrigerator at all times. Individual cups of Greek yogurt and edamame are also healthy, quick snacks.
20. WHAT IF I HAVE NEVER WORKED OUT A DAY IN MY LIFE?+
That’s not a problem at all. We welcome all individuals of all levels regardless of experience, age or ability.
21. SHOULD I CONSULT WITH A PHYSICIAN BEFORE I START A FITNESS PROGRAM?+
Yes, this is very important. We encourage all of our GYMGUYZ clients to consult with a physician to ensure that you’re healthy enough to begin your journey.
