THE WOODLANDS, TX – The Woodlands resident, David Henry, is opening a new gym in the area; however, it isn’t your average gym. Henry’s GYMGUYZ is a mobile gym with 365 state of the art pieces of equipment that brings the workout to the client. The company’s founder, Josh York, launched GYMGUYZ because he wanted to make fitness convenient with customized and creative workouts for each individual client. Henry is opening the second location in the state of Texas, right here in The Woodlands, with an official ribbon cutting ceremony taking place on Friday, August 12th in front of The Woodlands Chamber of Commerce.
“I could not be more excited to bring mobile fitness to The Woodlands,” Henry said. “I have always enjoyed working out, and I have also always wanted to own my own business, but I didn’t know what I wanted to open until I discovered the awesome concept of GYMGUYZ. I know that the community is really going to embrace this new fitness concept, and I’m looking forward to helping people achieve their goals”
Henry has been through a lot to get where he is today. He is a bone marrow cancer survivor and beat the disease when he was only 10 years old. Because he was able to overcome a health scare, he has used this motivation and drive to help other people get past setbacks and become their strongest selves.
“I had someone who would help get me get moving around when I was ill, which left an extremely positive effect on my body and mind, and I feel that this was essential to my recovery,” Henry said. “Because I overcame this disease, I understand the type of impact that fitness can have on people. I cannot wait to have a lasting effect on people of all ages and health levels, able to truly reap the positive benefits that a regular exercise routine can have on a person.”
Not only will Henry be delivering unique fitness routines in the area soon, but he also plans to begin giving back to the community soon through volunteer work and service.
