“Do or do not, there is no try.” - Yoda
I’ve always been an outdoor enthusiast, enjoying all forms of skiing, hiking, mountain biking, paddling and 4-season camping (yes, even winter!). Like so many, I let work and life take over, leaving me overweight with back issues and no energy.
After too many years of pasta, bagels, ice cream and inactivity, I discovered my ‘Dad Bod’ before it was a thing – but it was not a thing for me. I decided that, for my health, for my family (and for my pride) it was time to change. I went from “skinny-fat” to 6-pack, getting into the best shape of my life; all after the age of 50! Proof that is never too late to find fitness!
My mission is to inspire and motivate people of my community to discover and reach their health and fitness goals so they can live and enjoy long and healthy lives, for themselves and for their families.
I have been married to Deneen for 21 years!
We have three kids, Madelaine, Benjamin and Cole. Each so different and each so wonderful!

Activities You Do To Stay in Shape:
I love being active outdoors, going for hikes and bike rides, as well as participating in sports when I have the opportunity, especially rugby and volleyball. I enjoy going to the gym in my spare time and doing exercise classes with friends.
