After enjoying successful careers in corporate marketing and sales, we opened one the first GYMGUYZ franchises in the North Texas area. We have lived in this area for over 20 years raising our family and plan on being here for the next 20 years.

I have been active all my life and have played many sports including college soccer. I hold my Bachelor's degree in Sports and Exercise Science and am currently finishing up my Masters of Science in Strength and Conditioning at Texas A&M Corpus-Christi. I believe that exercise and movement is the best treatment a person can receive, after all, humans were made to move.
I have worked with a wide variety of clients of all ages including male /female, youth/high school sports, adults and seniors. I especially enjoy working with athletes post-physical therapy, helping them recover 100% to get back to playing their favorite sport. I have a passion for helping people of all backgrounds reach their goals through functional training.

I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science and Physical Education and have been in the fitness industry for 15 years. I have built my life around everything exercise and have been in management, competed, and trained one-on-one and in group settings. I have worked with a vast array of clients including athlete’s, elderly, those trying to lose weight, build strength, get more flexible or just increase their mobility. I love what I do and cannot think of another way to spend my days that would make me as happy.

While I was pursuing my Bachelor’s degree in Accounting I quickly realized that was not going to be my lifelong career. During my junior year in college I found myself at an uncomfortable weight and unsure of what I wanted to do in life. I turned to fitness in order to get back on track and successfully lost 100 pounds and found a new career in personal training. I completed my bachelor’s degree but chose to jump into the fitness industry just 6 months after graduation and
have been training ever since. From the person who wants a shredded physique, to the person who just wants to lose a few pounds so they can run around with their family, it’s a privilege for me to help you on your journey. And I hope somewhere along the way it gives you the confidence to achieve your goals in all aspects of your life.

I have been active all my life, I played select soccer starting from a young age and into high school. I practiced weight, speed and agility training to enhance my athleticism throughout my athletic career. After hanging up my soccer cleats, I focused even more on weight lifting along with plyometrics and stability training. Since switching my focus to weight lifting, 5k’s and body soundness, I decided to share my passion and become a certified personal trainer. Helping people reach their goals and improving their health is a dream job for me and I have a ton of fun doing it.

I hold a Bachelor's in Social Work and an MBA with a specialization in both Nonprofit Management and Marketing, but fitness has always been a passion of mine. After the last company I worked for closed it's doors I was offered the opportunity to reinvent myself and launch my passion into a my career. I enjoy working with all types of clients, but I specialize in clients dealing with health and physical challenges. I focus on strength and flexibility with an emphasis on core engagement.
Tenise LaRae is an experienced personal trainer with the goal of helping busy individuals reach their fitness and nutrition goals within the context of their own lives. Tenise’s love for health and fitness developed from her own personal journey of weight loss. As busy working mom of three boys who maintains a healthy lifestyle, Tenise is eager to share her unique training style, contagious energy, and wisdom gained over the years with clients from all walks of life, fitness levels, and schedules, to remove obstacles and crush goals!
