  • Clyde Horton


    Clyde is a former financial executive with extensive experience in finance and operations management. He has proven success in leading resources across multiple functions, work groups, and management levels. After spending 25 years in the corporate world, Pittsburgh local and Duquesne University graduate Clyde Horton wanted a change. The former college hockey player always had a passion for athletics and fitness, and now, he is bringing his passion for fitness to Pittsburgh residents with GYMGUYZ. Clyde feels that in-home personal training helps to bridge the gap between your busy schedule and the inconvenience of going to the gym. He met his wife at a neighboring high school and has been married to Margaret for over 25 years. They are the proud parents of Camren and Caden. Aside from his work, he spends his leisure time working out and training with his sons, golfing, playing softball, or chilling with his dog (Zeke).

  • David Lorenzi

    Territory Manager

    David Lorenzi, Ed.D., is a Professor in the Department of Kinesiology, Health, and Sport Science at Indiana University of Pennsylvania and is a GYMGUYZ Territory Manager. David is an American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) Certified Personal Trainer, an ACSM Inclusive Fitness Trainer, and an ACSM Autism Exercise Specialist. David is also a Certified Adapted Physical Educator and has spent his entire career working with individuals with disabilities in a variety of physical activity settings. For 17 years, David was the Director of the Special Needs Activity Program (SNAP) at Indiana University of Pennsylvania, has served as a Special Olympics board member and coach, and has taught swimming and skiing to individuals with disabilities. David played soccer collegiately at Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania and has been a long-time soccer coach. David lives in Latrobe with his wife, Melissa, and children Marina, Nico, and Ava. In his free time, David enjoys reading, trail running, hiking, and cycling.

  • Beth Shaw

    Certified Personal Trainer

    Beth is an Ace Certified Personal Trainer who has been training and teaching group classes for over ten years. She loves the opportunity to prove that every person has the ability to not only reach whatever health and fitness goals they may have but also to truly feel comfortable in their own skin. She has worked with many populations including kids through individuals in their 90's, people with special needs, athletes, and those who may be hesitant to start for whatever reason.

    She has a BS in Business Management from the University of Pittsburgh and an Associate’s Degree in Culinary Arts from the International Culinary Degree, Le Cordon Bleu. A career in fitness came from a personal love of exercise and healthy eating and the want to help people to find the strength and confidence they have within themselves to reach any dream they may have for their health.

    In her free time, she enjoys yoga, baking, and playing anything and everything with her daughter.

  • Leslie Stenger

    Territory Manager

    Leslie Stenger, Ed.D., is a Professor in the Department of Kinesiology, Health, and Sport Science at Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Leslie has more than 25 years of experience in the health and fitness club industry. She has worked in every segment of the industry including corporate, community, clinical, public, and private clubs. Leslie was a general partner of Fitness Essentials, a personal training company serving the private club industry. She has extensive experience as a club management consultant and staff training. Her vast experience with health and fitness programming in the private club sector includes serving as program director of the Health and Fitness Center at the Duquesne Club in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania for 11 years. The Duquesne Club has the distinguished honor of being named the No. 1 City Club in America over numerous years. Leslie is an ACSM Certified Exercise Physiologist, ACSM Group Exercise Instructor and PTA Global Certified Personal Trainer. She is a member of the ACSM Committee on Certification and Registry Board. She is also an author contributor to the ACSM Resources for the Group Exercise Instructor. Leslie enjoys working with individuals facing any type of health challenge to create safe and effective training programs that enhance the quality of life. Leslie enjoys caring for her dogs and horses and enjoys cycling, yoga and swimming.

  • Judy Minkemeyer

    Certified Personal Trainer

    Judy is a middle-distance athlete having completed Ironman 70.3 Eagleman and 70.3 Wilmington as well as many other shorter Olympic length and sprint triathlons. Prior to focusing on competitive sports, Judy stayed active and had a healthy lifestyle that included exercise at the gym and walking. She began focusing on competitive exercise at 49 with just a short 5K and then developed a love for multi-sport events as she began to train harder. This naturally led to a desire to do it right and to learn everything she could about nutrition and proper weight and athletic training. Judy has Certified Personal Training and Corrective Exercise Specialist certificates through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM). She will help her clients achieve their fitness goals with empathy and focus. “Make the choice to take a chance to make a change.” is a phrase that she first adopted when she began her fitness journey and sticks with her today.

  • Nicole Lovato

    Certified Personal Trainer

    Nicole is an ISSA certified personal trainer with specialization in nutrition, group fitness, yoga. Her background was in teaching cosmetology and esthetics for 20+ years. She loves working with people of all ages to make it fun and attainable to get fit and live a more healthy lifestyle. Nicole believes that Progress only takes place outside of our comfort zone. In free time enjoys spending time with her kids and German shepherd Thor.

  • Chris Bush

    Certified Personal Trainer

    Chris has been an AFAA Certified Personal Trainer since 2016 and a Certified Group Exercise Instructor since 2006. A college graduate from Indiana University of Pennsylvania with a BS in Merchandising, she discovered her true passion was for health and wellness 12 years later with her own weight loss journey. She began as a group exercise instructor, then a personal trainer which lead to the management of a Corporate Fitness Center. She feels exercise is an extremely important component for everyone's well-being in balancing all aspects of their lives. She has years of experience working with individuals of all fitness levels, including children to Seniors. Chris has been married for over 25 years to her husband Skip. They have two beautiful children, Gavin and Nikki and a crazy Weimaraner, Myka. She enjoys good company, good food and is a outstanding cook. Chris is an avid cyclist and if it is a nice day out, you will more than likely find her on the trail riding for miles and miles!

    Certified Personal Trainer

    Evan is an individual who saw himself as overweight and out of shape in his youth. Taking matters into his own hands, he started working out and exercising rigorously to attain the level of fitness and health he desired. From playing sports to transitioning into a world of theater and dance, Evan has learned there are many different ways to achieve and maintain your fitness goals. He a ISSA certified personal trainer with focuses such as: corrective exercises, strength gain and conditioning, flexibility, and mobility. He always says, “The first step is always the hardest, so let’s take it together”.

    Certified Personal Trainer

    Zach is a NASM certified personal trainer who’s passion for fitness started in college when he was inspired to run a marathon after watching the movie “Run Fatboy Run.” After completing many 5ks and 10ks he shifted his focus over to strength and conditioning training. After working on his fitness journey, he decided he wanted to help others learn how to realize their fitness goals and became a personal trainer In 2020. Zach specializes in cardio, strength, conditioning, flexibility, and mobility. In his free time he enjoys reading, watching bad movies, performing stand-up comedy, and collecting vinyl.
