Fitness became an important tool in managing my mental health. I have reaped countless rewards both physically and mentally from my years of dedication to myself and I wanted, more than anything, to help others get to that same place. I want them to feel the same pride and confidence that comes from doing difficult things, and assist them in developing the discipline to keep the promises they make to themselves. It is so rewarding! Motivation comes and goes, it’s discipline that keeps you on track. And it is a skill, like any other, that has to be learned, and practiced. My focus has made a sharp turn from working out for aesthetics to function and I want to help guide others away from using exercise as punishment or to change their body and help them realize that their body is their home. I advise every client that I get the opportunity to work for to train for function, not aesthetics! The rest will fall into place. Your body is your home. We only get one. I want them to love and care for their home so they can live a long, pain free, independent life where they can experience all life has to offer at every age and stage of it. I care as much about my clients mental and emotional well-being and their relationships with food and their body as I do about their physical health. I want you to love you enough to put yourself first.

I became a personal trainer to help people improve their overall life and well being. Personal training helped me improve my self image and overall health. My goal is to work with people who are interested in becoming more healthy and wanting to learn how to live a more active lifestyle. As a personal trainer, I want get to share in my client’s journey’s and goals to fitness and help them work towards their goals. By building a relationship with the client and gaining their trust in the process and in me, I hope to help the clients reach their goals.
