Amid the influx of “new year, new you” posts, discounted gym memberships and morning show segments on how to make your smoothies taste more like margaritas, it can be difficult to determine where you should even begin when it comes to improving your health.
For many people, starting a fitness routine is somewhere on their list of New Year’s resolutions. And while bettering your physical health is certainly an admirable goal — and one that is advised by literally any health expert — sometimes the wrong mindset can make the idea of starting an exercise regimen seem like a daunting undertaking.
