    I have a 17 month old son who cannot sit still and is constantly running or climbing things. Chasing my son around keeps me very active. To stay in shape, I enjoy doing and exploring exercises that involve multi-plane movements. My equipment of choice include: resistance bands, kettle bells, mace and club bells.

    Fitness Background
    Debbie received her Bachelors of Science degree in Occupational Therapy and has always emphasized the importance of good posture (form) and body mechanics for the maintenance of health and function to her employees and colleagues throughout her career. As the owner of GYMGUYZ Urban Honolulu she now additionally emphasizes the importance of flexibility and core conditioning to improve mobility.

    My Mission
    My mission is to afford everyone the opportunity to improve their health
    and wellness through fitness. While growing old or aging is inevitable,
    the negative factors sometimes associated with aging such as pain and
    disability are not.

    Not everyone loves to exercise, including me. That’s why it’s so
    important to make exercising easy and convenient. If you’re a fitness
    buff, you make exercise a priority in your life. But for those us who tend
    to put off exercising, we can always find a reason why we don’t have the
    time to fit it into our day.

    That’s why I was so drawn to GYMGUYZ. Staying fit is so important to
    ensuring the best quality of life as we age. I want to help others find a
    way to make fitness a priority in their life and positively impact their future
    health.
