Anna is the perfect blend of brains, grit, and heart. With a degree in Finance and Investments, she thrived in major financial firms, but her true passion has always been fitness. Over 20 years, Anna has pushed her limits, conquering marathons, triathlons, and cycling events. She’s now chasing the prestigious seven-star major marathon finisher title and has her sights set on completing an Ironman—because why not aim for greatness?

As the founder of the running club, Anna knows firsthand how discipline, community, and setting goals can transform lives. She and her husband, Petro, are on a mission to help their neighbors in Park Slope and beyond live healthier, happier lives.

When Anna isn’t inspiring others, she’s busy making memories with Petro and their two spirited daughters, Melania (7) and Emilia (3), who are already following in mom’s active footsteps.

Petro Nikitin

GYMGUYZ OWNER

Petro’s journey from Ukraine to New York City is a testament to resilience and determination. After earning degrees in Accounting and Hospitality Management from the City University of New York, Petro spent two decades excelling in the NYC hospitality industry, working at top-tier five-star and five-diamond hotels.

The pandemic led Petro to explore entrepreneurship, and he discovered a passion for home improvement and helping others achieve their goals. Now, as co-owner of GYMGUYZ Park Slope, Petro combines his hospitality expertise and entrepreneurial spirit to create personalized fitness solutions for the community.

In his downtime, Petro loves hitting the slopes, diving into hands-on construction projects, and cherishing quality time with his wife, Anna, and their two daughters.

Harold Carmen

Operations Manager

Harold is a dedicated fitness professional with over 8 years of work out experience. A passionate advocate for health and wellness, he’s spent five years running marathons and believes in the power of fitness to transform lives. Currently serving as the Operations Manager of GYMGUYZ Brooklyn, Harold combines his extensive fitness knowledge with his organizational expertise to support the team in delivering personalized, on-the-go fitness experiences. His commitment to both physical health and professional excellence drives his role, ensuring GYMGUYZ Brooklyn continues to thrive. Outside of work, Harold stays active and inspires others to prioritize their fitness journey, embodying the very principles that GYMGUYZ stands for.

Hakeem

CERTIFIED PERSONAL TRAINER

Hakeem is a certified professional trainer with over 10 years of experience in the fitness industry. He believes that personal training is more than just a workout—it’s a comprehensive approach to health and wellness. His goal is to educate and empower clients with effective exercises and proper nutrition guidance, helping them achieve long-term success.

Hakeem specializes in strength and conditioning, weight loss, bodybuilding, yoga, Pilates, stretching, cardio boxing, and sports-specific training. He is passionate about working with people of all ages and fitness levels, including seniors, young adults, and individuals with disabilities. No matter the goal, he is committed to creating a customized training experience that helps clients feel stronger, healthier, and more confident.

Epic

CERTIFIED PERSONAL TRAINER

A proud Brooklyn native, Epic Jade brings deep roots and a vibrant understanding of the borough’s culture to her training. Her fitness journey began in childhood through dance classes, outdoor play in the “concrete jungle,” and team sports spanning from elementary school to college.

What started as casually training friends and family quickly evolved into a full-blown passion and career. Epic pursued formal education in personal training and has since worked with clients of all ages and fitness backgrounds.

Epic specializes in strength training, physical therapy, flexibility, weight loss, and calisthenics. She is driven by a mission to strengthen both body and mind—brightening perspectives and changing lives, one step and one rep at a time.

Tasina

CERTIFIED PERSONAL TRAINER

Born and raised in Brooklyn, Tasina is a certified personal trainer with a focus on strength building and high-intensity interval training (HIIT). Her fitness journey began with dance at a young age, and after 15 years of movement, she made it official by earning her personal training certification in 2020.

With five years of experience, Tasina has successfully worked with clients from diverse backgrounds and age groups. She also has specialized experience in adaptive fitness, serving the special needs community with empathy and expertise.

Tasina believes in starting where you are. Her approach centers around positive reinforcement and helping every client feel supported and empowered as they build confidence and achieve their fitness goals.

Certified Personal Trainer & Nutritionist

Sebastián is a certified personal trainer and nutritionist committed to the philosophy: a healthy mind, a healthy body. Energetic, reliable, and disciplined, he creates practical, personalized workout plans that deliver results.

His areas of expertise include strength and conditioning, weight loss, bodybuilding, stretching, cardio boxing, and sport-specific training. He works with clients of all ages and abilities—including seniors, young adults, and individuals with disabilities.

Sebastián takes pride in delivering customized programs that align with each client’s unique goals. He provides the structure, motivation, and accountability needed to transform lives through hard work and dedication.

Joe

CERTIFIED PERSONAL TRAINER

Joe is a dedicated fitness professional and proud Queens native with a strong passion for community wellness. With experience training individuals across all ages and fitness levels, he has developed particular expertise in working with the special needs community.

Joe emphasizes strength—especially core strength—as a foundation for better mobility, injury prevention, and overall quality of life. His personalized, accessible approach ensures that every client feels supported as they pursue their wellness journey.

Shirin

Certified Personal Trainer & Nutrition Coach

Originally from Iran, Shirin brings over a decade of international coaching experience—from Iran to Georgia to the United States. She is ISSA-certified and specializes in strength training, fat loss, and muscle building, all while fostering body confidence and self-empowerment.

Shirin’s sessions combine structure and strategy with a welcoming, judgment-free environment. Her holistic approach to fitness promotes not only physical transformation but also mental clarity and emotional balance.

Her mission: to help clients build strong, sustainable lifestyles where the body, mind, and emotions grow in harmony.

Harrison

Certified Personal Trainer

Harrison is a certified personal trainer who creates tailored fitness programs grounded in movement assessments, evidence-based strategies, and nutritional guidance. His goal: to help clients build strength, move better, and achieve lasting, sustainable results.

With a background as a competitive swimmer and triathlete, Harrison brings a strong sense of discipline and perseverance to his coaching. He supports clients in pushing past barriers and building lifelong habits that benefit both physical and mental wellness.
