THE FITNESS LIFESTYLE, PART 32

Just a few general points this time around, as we close in on a potentially epic 4th of July weekend. Why ‘epic?’ Because

the 4th falls on a Friday and a lot of you will be off from work. Many people don’t have work on Saturdays and Sundays, either… which raises the possibility of nonstop partying like a rockstar from Friday through Sunday!

What to do? Raise the panic flag? The red flag? Or go hog wild and eat and drink your way into oblivion? The answer is, none of the above. The trick, of course, is to continue with your GYMGUYZ In-Home Personal Training workouts, ask your coach as many questions as you like… and go about your business as usual. Your coach will likely tell you some combination of “have fun, stay within yourself, don’t do anything out of the ordinary.” Which, come to think of it, is pretty much the way your GYMGUYZ workouts proceed — enjoy the various exercises, get the most out of each set… but the overall goal isn’t to drive yourself into the ground. Looking ahead to this upcoming weekend, it’s not even advisable to mark down a certain party as the one where you “go nuts.” Nope. Enjoy the entire weekend… by remembering that moderation is the key to almost all things.
