Steven Wyant has always loved activity, leading to his appreciation for fitness and a healthy lifestyle. Growing up playing sports and working for the Cincinnati Reds, he learned valuable lessons about staying active. In college, after shattering his kneecap playing soccer, he understood the importance of general fitness for recovery and longterm health. Moving to Northern Kentucky in 2003, Steven trained for a marathon with friends, aiming to qualify for the Boston Marathon. Despite a heart condition and surgery in 2016, he achieved this goal. Now, Steven focuses on supporting the fitness goals of the clients of GYMGUYZ Cincinnati and NKY. Here is an article about this journey.

Alisa Profumo, CPT, Certified Nutrition Coach Alisa is a Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) and Certified Nutrition Coach through the International Sports Sciences Association (ISSA), with additional training in Holistic Health from Bellarmine University. A lifelong fitness enthusiast, she has been strength training since her early twenties and understands firsthand the transformative power of exercise, proper nutrition, and healthy lifestyle habits. While attending the University of Louisville, Alisa taught group fitness classes, helping individuals of all fitness levels build confidence, strength, and consistency in their workouts. Her passion for health extends beyond the gym, with years of experience in the nutraceutical industry, where she partnered with healthcare practitioners across multiple disciplines to educate them on evidencebased nutritional solutions and wellness strategies. Alisa believes that achieving lasting health is about more than just exercise—it’s about creating sustainable habits that support the whole person. Darbi

Darbi grew up in Ohio and was a multisport athlete from 2nd grade on up. She excelled at cross country and received a crosscountry scholarship to Wright State University and continued running half marathons afterward. Darbi accomplished finishing as the top female finisher and 6th overall in one of the half marathons. She volunteered with Girls on the Run, led a group of Hiking Mamas in Montana, and over the past 10 years, has been an avid weightlifter. Since 2018, Darbi has been bodybuilding and competed three times and finished in the top 3 of her competitions. She holds a personal training license through NASM. Physical health is her passion, and has the belief that with the right diet and attitude, you can achieve your desired results!

Dennis Cornell has over 23 years as a doctorallevel psychotherapist helping folks make changes to become better versions of themselves. His work as a Certified Personal TrainerNutrition Coach (NASM) has provided the foundation for his understanding of clientcentered fitness, motivation, and performance metrics. As a former instructor for the Army Physical Fitness Test (APFT), and later as a Certified Level II Grader for the revised version, Army Combat Fitness Test (ACFT), he has 8 years of experience leading Soldiers in reaching their fitness goals to pass the test for Army readiness. He is driving by helping clients fulfill their personal fitness goals.

I bring four years of experience coaching athletes in strength, conditioning, and skill development. I have worked handson with individuals across different sports and ages groups.My coaching style is supportive, structured, and centered around helping clients build strength, and confidence through solid technique and balanced training. I’m passionate about creating an environment where people feel safe, confident, capable, and motivated to push past what they thought they could do. Krissy

Krissy’s personal training journey took a bit of a different path. She started out graduating with a BS in Early Childhood Education and a Masters in Reading Education. She found that teaching in the schools was not for her, but she did have a desire to still teach. She was an inhome nanny for several years before deciding she wanted to have children. Now she cares for hers and her husband’s two boys (10 and 8). She developed her passion for helping others achieve their fitness and health goals while she was a member at Orangetheory Fitness. During her time working with the coaches at OTF, she did several 5Ks and halfmarathons in the Greater Cincinnati Area. She also volunteered her time with several mothers that were part of a local special needs family group called PAUSE. She did weekly training sessions and monthly challenges with them. She is currently working with a strength and conditioning specialist to improve her back strength. She had scoliosis and had two 18 titanium rods surgically attached to her spine (T3L2) at the age of 24 and over time they have decreased her overall mobility and back health. She is well versed in adapting to the needs of her clients because she has to be constantly cognizant of what she needs to adapt on a daily basis.

With 8 years of experience as a certified personal trainer, he specializes in strength and conditioning and overall fitness. He also has extensive experience working with youth clients on speed and agility training for various sports. He is a Cincinnati firefighter and a wellness coach for Mental Health America and Northkey of Northern Kentucky. His outgoing personality will keep you motivated and his caring nature will help you through any bumps in the way of living your best life.
