"After our first training session, we were believers!"

“June 2018 We met Bill back in early May when he approached us about a team building opportunity to help us get in shape and start a healthier lifestyle. Of course at first many weren't thrilled with the thought of this, but after our first personal training session, we were believers! Working with bill here at the community has brought members of our team not only closer together, but has given us an opportunity to learn healthier habits and be more efficient at work and in our personal lives. Twice a week Bill arrives to the community ready to get us in gear! As each week goes by, you might see a few different faces join. Some of these faces have started to include residents! You can find Lois, Elaine, Barbara, Jim and Everett just to name a few lifting light weights as Bill has us circuit training and sweating up a storm! The residents absolutely love watching the staff in action. Resident Lois says "I've been able to move better and am feeling better from our exercises." Bill always makes sure to include our residents and gets them moving in a safe, yet effective way. Bill's program has brought many of us closer as a team and has developed a different type of relationship for us with some of our residents. They get to see us in our workout gear, drenched in sweat and begging for mercy, lol! It has helped create more of a sense of family around here. This has been such an amazing benefit of this program aside from the health benefits we are already seeing! We here at Brookdale North Scottsdale would highly recommend giving Bill Stark from GYMGUYZ a try at your community. Nicole Southey, CDAL Executive Director”
