RECIPE OF THE WEEK YOGURT PARFAIT POPSICLES

You know that old Popsicle mold you’ve got laying around that you never use because you’re sick of the same old frozen treat? Go find it— you’re going to want it close by in a few seconds when we blow your world up with this recipe.

Healthy, easy, delicious. Three words you rarely hear in the same cluster, but we strive to bring these rare finds to you little by little. This week’s find just happens to hit the nail on the head, and those of you with a sweet tooth are (most literally) in for a treat. If you like parfaits, you’ll love these yogurt parfait popsicles. And you can feed them to your kids with no added guilt. Here’s the scoop:

What You’ll Need:

  • Fruits (pick your favorites— the options are endless!)
  • Vanilla yogurt (Greek is recommended)
  • Granola
  • Honey (We recommend checking out your local market to see if any local honey is available to you— it always tastes the best!)

Extra Utensils:

  • Popsicle mold
  • Popsicle sticks

How To Make:
In a few short sentences we’re about to tell you how to create a dessert (or breakfast?!) that will become a staple in your diet. Layer the popsicle mold with yogurt and fruit. When it’s almost full to the brim, sprinkle a little bit of granola and then drizzle a little bit of honey (it helps seal the granola). Push in your popsicle sticks, pop the mold in the freezer, wait a few hours for the frozen delicacies to solidify, and pop ‘em out. If the honey sticks, just run the mold under water (but be careful not to get water into your granola, yuck).

Happy snacking!
